“Ghost Town” by First Aid Kit, April 11, 2012 at The Crocodile in Seattle, WA.  They unplugged the guitar and stepped away from the microphone to play the song entirely unplugged.  Worked pretty well for a sold out audience that included a few hoodlums.

FOR YOU, MISTER SMITHERS

got home from overnight shift this morning and took a two hour nap.  i asked my roomate trif to wake me up by playing springsteen really loud at 1pm so I wouldn’t sleep all day. I’m happy to say i woke up to the blaring of ‘born in the USA’ at precisely 1pm.  also waiting for me was a pot of coffee, and pasta salad shared by other roommate brad. then i ate some candy.  now it’s time to TCOB (take care of business…it’s an acronym i’m trying to coin).

went for a walk up mount kennesaw, an old battle site from the civil war.  all the leaves reminded me of ‘where the wild things are.’ 

someone had to carry these up the hill.  bummer.

i’m a bit little back-logged with the photoblog, but today we sang the doxology in church, and i just had to share it will my internet friends. we went to a southern baptist church in gulfport, MS. i prefer a more sustained and drawn out version of the liturgical staple, but this will hold me over for a while.
